PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — A high-speed chase through Paulding County is now drawing attention after deputies shared video of the pursuit.

According to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, the chase began on Highway 101 North in Yorkville.
Authorities identified the driver as Christian Harper, 28.
Deputies say what started as a traffic situation quickly escalated into a dangerous chase, with the suspect racking up a long list of violations along the way.
According to officials, Harper is facing multiple charges, including felony fleeing and attempting to elude, reckless driving, and numerous traffic offenses such as speeding, failure to maintain lane, and driving on the wrong side of the road.
He is also charged with driving with a suspended license, no insurance, and having an expired or missing license plate and registration.
The sheriff’s office posted video of the chase on social media, showing the moments during the chase as deputies worked to bring it to an end.
In the post, the agency added a blunt message: “If you’re gonna be dumb, you’ve got to be tough, shug.”
Harley was booked into the Paulding County Jail.
