Hundreds of gallons of fertilizer spilled after truck overturns, shuts down road

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office has shut down Gulledge Road at Westin Way to investigate a crash that led to a chemical spill in the roadway.

Paulding County Fire says a fertilizer truck rolled over several times, causing hundreds of gallons of liquid fertilizer to spill out.


Hazmat crews were called to the area to help clean up the mess.

There is no word on when the road will be back open.
