Papa John’s setting up its new headquarters at The Battery Atlanta

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Papa John’s plans to deliver its headquarters to Cobb County. The pizza chain announced Tuesday it will move from its current location in Kentucky to a 60,000 square foot facility at the Battery Atlanta.

The company said its new location will also include a state-of-the-art test kitchen for new menu items.

“Our new Atlanta headquarters is the outcome of a process we began in late 2019 as an investment in our long-term growth and delivers on our purpose, values, and strategic business priorities,” said Rob Lynch, President & CEO of Papa John’s. “We’re excited to expand in Atlanta – a vibrant city that’s home to several QSR brands and provides incredible access to a deep, diverse talent pool.”

The company plans to keep a presence in its old home in Louisville. But the new headquarters are expected to bring 200 jobs to the area.

The Battery Atlanta is already home to other corporations including Comcast’s regional HQ and the North American headquarters for Thyssenkrupp, a German elevator and escalator company.

“We are thrilled to welcome Papa John’s to The Battery Atlanta where they will literally be at the intersection of the hottest office location in Metro Atlanta,” said Mike Plant, President and CEO of Braves Development Company. “We are honored they chose Three Ballpark Center to house their new global headquarters and we look forward to a long partnership with their leadership team and employees.”

Papa John’s says it will spend time in Atlanta to get ready for the transition. The new space is expected to be completed by next summer.
