ATLANTA — The Associated Press Top 25 rankings will have a historic shakeup on Sunday following some key upsets in Week 7.

Previous No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 5 Indiana, No. 6 Alabama and No. 7 Texas all lost. It’s the first time since the AP poll began in 1936 that five of the top seven all lost in the same day.

Who will be the new No. 1? No. 3 Miami needed double overtime to beat its rival Florida State. No. 8 BYU held on in the final seconds against Notre Dame. And while they have one loss, No. 4 Ohio State handed No. 5 Indiana its first loss since 2024.

The poll will be released at 2 p.m. Sunday.
