GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are asking for the public’s help finding a 17-year-old girl who jumped from a vehicle while being transported and ran from officers.

Police said Deaniyka Body escaped on July 24 near the State Route 316 eastbound ramp.
During the search, officers said Body was spotted hiding between vehicles at the QuikTrip at 5050 Sugarloaf Parkway.
She remained in the area for about 30 minutes and reportedly asked people for a ride before leaving.
Body is described as a Black female, about 5 feet 2 inches tall and 110 pounds.
When she was last seen, she was wearing a tight-fitting green romper, a bonnet and carrying a Jack Skellington plushie.
Anyone with information about Body’s whereabouts is asked to contact Gwinnett County Police detectives at 770-513-5300.
