DUNWOODY, Ga. — The Dunwoody Municipal Court will offer an amnesty program throughout October and November for individuals with past-due traffic citations or active bench warrants.
The initiative is designed to allow individuals to resolve outstanding failure-to-appear violations and reduce the risk of arrest.

The program provides a way for individuals to clear court records and address suspended driver’s licenses. Eligible participants can settle their cases by visiting Dunwoody Municipal Court, located at 4800 Ashford Dunwoody Road.
Under the terms of the program, associated contempt fees will be waived for individuals who pay their fines in full. If a case requires a mandatory court appearance, court staff will schedule a future court date and outstanding warrants and warrant fees will be cleared at that time.
Dunwoody Municipal Court Clerk Norlaundra Jackson highlighted the initiative’s effort to help individuals clear lingering legal issues. “Participating in our court amnesty program gives individuals a safe and responsible way to clear outstanding warrants and failure-to-appear violations without fear of arrest,” Jackson said. “It also allows people to address suspended driver’s licenses and resolve court matters that may be holding them back in their daily lives. Our goal is to encourage people to come forward and move forward without the burden of unresolved court issues.”

Individuals may visit the court for walk-in services on Mondays, Tuesdays or Fridays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Payment options include cash, money orders, cashier’s checks and credit cards, but personal checks will not be accepted.
