NEWNAN, Ga. — Newnan police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened late Tuesday.
Officers responded around 11:23 p.m. to a home on Octavia Place after getting calls about gunshots in the neighborhood. They found 38-year-old Hunter Williams, who had been shot multiple times.

Chief Brett Blankenship said Williams was taken to the hospital, but died from his injuries.
At this time, the suspect has not been identified. The investigation remains active and ongoing," the chief said.
Investigators are asking for anyone who has information on the shooting to call Lt. Chris Robinson at 770-254-2355, extension 155.
