GREENE COUNTY, Ga. — A man taken into custody immediately upon police arriving to a shooting scene is now charged with murder.
Greene County deputies and a Greensboro police officer responded to a home on Union Point Hwy. for a shooting on Sunday afternoon.

When they arrived, Darius Brown, the alleged shooter, was taken into custody while other deputies searched for the victim.
Crispus Terrell, 48, was found with several gunshot wounds. Deputies tried saving him, but Terrell was pronounced dead at the home.
Brown has now been booked into the Greene County Jail on charges of felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault and gun possession.

Investigators requested the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to assist in their investigation.
Details on what led up to the shooting and possible motives have not been released.
