ATLANTA — The teenage son of former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak and former Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann is expected in court Tuesday after a grand jury indicted him on multiple sex crime charges tied to an alleged incident at an Alpharetta gym.
Kroy Biermann Jr., 15, was indicted last week and faces seven charges while being prosecuted as an adult, including aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery.

According to an indictment obtained by Channel 2 Action News, the teenager is accused of forcing himself on a girl younger than 16. He was arrested on Aug. 17.
The case has drawn attention because the accused is the son of Zolciak, a longtime reality television personality, and Biermann, a former NFL player who spent his entire professional career with the Atlanta Falcons.
Following the arrest, Zolciak publicly defended her son.

“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling,” Zolciak told Page Six in a statement. “He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged.”
The teenager’s attorney also denied the allegations and said his client is innocent.
“First and foremost, this is not the kind of information that should be for public dissemination. These are juveniles,” the attorney said in a statement.

The attorney said his client passed a polygraph examination and claimed evidence exists of prior false allegations by the alleged victim. The attorney also said the Georgia Bureau of Investigation found no male DNA in areas where the alleged victim reported she was assaulted.
The attorney argued the allegations are false and motivated by the teen’s alleged rejection of the accuser’s advances.
“The fact that he’s been arrested and is being held without Bond is a tragedy. He is not only presumed innocent, but is in fact innocent,” the attorney said.
The attorney asked the public not to presume the allegations are true and requested privacy for both families as the case proceeds.
