A few scattered showers and storms possible Friday and Saturday, but widespread rain is expected Easter Sunday as cold front moves through.
The rainfall totals won’t add up to much, but any rain is needed with the ongoing drought conditions. Parts of metro Atlanta are in a severe drought while several counties north and east of Atlanta are in an extreme drought.
The next drought report will be released on Thursday.
