ATLANTA — Interstate 285 in southwest Atlanta is moving once again after a delayed reopening with the Georgia Department of Transportation’s ongoing Westside Rebuild Project construction.

GDOT shut down both northbound and southbound for a two-mile stretch between the Cascade Road Martin Luther King Jr. Drive exits on Friday night.
Shields reports that the lanes were scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. Monday. However, Traffic Tracker 2 cameras were showing all lanes were shut down.
GDOT reopened the northbound lanes at 6:52 a.m. The southbound side reopened just before 7:30 a.m.
