HALL COUNTY, Ga. — North Georgia’s largest peach orchard is remembering Dolly Parton through the farm’s annual corn maze.

At Jaemor Farms in Hall County on Thursday, their great big American flag was a symbol of honor, but also of grief.
“I’ve seen a lot of flags all over North Georgia at half-staff. You know, she was very well thought of,” owner Drew Echols said.
Channel 2 Action News was alongside as Echols walked through his soon-to-open corn maze for the farm’s annual Harvest Celebration. This year, it’s a tribute to Dolly Parton. The six-acre maze has already taken shape. Echols says they settled on this year’s design many months ago.
“When Dolly died the day before yesterday, we didn’t really know what to think. We chose a corn maze theme in early April, and it’s all about Dolly Parton,” Echols said.

Drew says while so many are very sad, he hopes Dolly’s Corn Maze will bring some smiles. Those following the farm on social media have already saved the dates.
“Hey, we’re gonna come. We’re gonna come. I hope they do. I hope they spend time at Dollywood and where she grew up. What better way to celebrate her life?” Echols said.
Jaemor is also supporting Dolly Parton’s nonprofit, Imagination Library. It provides free books through the mail for children from birth through age 5. Proceeds from the corn maze are going to the Clermont Library in Hall County.
Jaemor’s annual Harvest Celebration and Dolly’s Corn Maze will open on Sept. 12 and run through the first week of November.
