Co-workers and family said their goodbyes to a mother and son who were tortured with a hammer in their Gwinnett County home.
A memorial is set up where James Sramek used to work as loved ones pay their respects to him and his mother, Nicola, five days after they were found tortured to death.
James Sramek's friend Brittany Wicker used to see him bartending every week at Tony's Sports Bar and Grill in Sandy Springs.
She helped put together the memorial and vigil for others to grieve together.
"Why him? He didn't do anything wrong," Wicker said.
Gwinnett County police believe Rickey Taylor, 28, is behind the double murder and at least two robberies in the same area.
The bodies of James and his mother were found three days after their murder.
Jamie Arvia, James Sramek's sister, has questions about the man in custody after viewing the bodies.
"I've seen some things, and to me it's not piecing together. I can't wrap my head around it," Arvia said.
Arvia hopes her brother's and mother's accused killer gets the harshest punishment possible.
