And he fears one will lose control and kill someone.

Jaime Olvera told Channel 2 Gwinnett County bureau chief Matt Johnson the drivers come to Walnut Circle in different cars, sometimes early in the morning.

“Annoying, unsecure, and unsafe,” Olvera said of the driving. “Because they make that a thing and it’s not safe for nobody.”

Video of one recent visit on Sunday shows a white car spinning in the middle of the street, past front lawns and rose bushes.

Olvera said families on the street have children and that it is dangerous for them to see cars doing that.

Olvera has filmed the drivers and once called out to one, but they drove off, he said. He thinks they pick circles with few houses, and he said they move around the neighborhood.

“I heard them in the other circle,” he said. “And then when I heard they doing something in the other circle, I know they’re gonna come this circle.”

Police patrol for stunt driving, but Olvera said he understands officers cannot be on every corner. If police catch the drivers, he said, jail time and taking away their cars could make an example of them.

“They lose the control of the car and then they can kill someone,” Olvera said. “And they can kill themselves too.”
