Akeem Alleyne, 30, turned himself in to the Gwinnett County Detention Center on Monday, Gwinnett police said in a release.

According to officials, on Sept. 21, officers responded to a 911 call about a mother who stated her 15-year-old daughter had been assaulted.

The victim also called a friend, stating she had been raped a few hours before. Alleyne allegedly raped and sexually assaulted the child at his home in Snellville, the release stated.

Alleyne is facing charges of kidnapping, two counts of rape, aggravated child molestation and aggravated child molestation by sodomy.

He is also facing an additional rape charge in connection with a second victim. Officials said the second victim is an adult woman who was Alleyne’s acquaintance.

Channel 2′s Matt Johnson learned that Alleyne has been in jail over a dozen times.

Neighbors told Johnson that it’s not uncommon to hear yelling and screaming from Alleyne’s house, but an alleged rape and kidnapping was shocking.

Jail records showed that Alleyne has been arrested 14 times in the last 13 years for property crimes, domestic crimes and sex crimes. He was accused of exposing himself to strangers in 2015.
