BUFORD, Ga. — Newly released body-camera and surveillance video is providing new details about a June neighborhood shooting in Buford that left two brothers jailed for more than 80 days.

Gwinnett County police say the evidence does not support a claim of self-defense by brothers Armani Warner and Camari Warner, who are accused of firing guns during a confrontation with their neighbor, Malcolm Davis.
The shooting happened on Water Mill Drive in June.
Cellphone video released by police shows Camari Warner holding a gun and saying, “Die in this (expletive), let’s shoot it out.”
Police say the statement, along with other evidence gathered during the investigation, does not support the brothers’ claims that they were defending themselves.
The brothers’ mother, Kehonia Vick, has continued to stand by her sons and advocate for their release.
“These boys are not a threat. They have no prior criminal history,” Vick said.
Vick says her sons acted in self-defense after Davis approached their home following a fight involving their younger sons.

Ring camera video captured part of the confrontation, including Vick saying, “Don’t (expletive) with my family. Don’t (expletive) with my family.”
Davis and his family dispute Vick’s account.
Davida Davis, Malcolm Davis’ wife, said her husband did not have a gun when he went to the Warner home.
“My husband did not have a gun,” she said.
She said the incident has been difficult for her family.
“It has been incredibly stressful,” Davis said.
Police released a series of surveillance and body-camera videos from the night of the shooting as investigators examined what led to the gunfire.
In one body-camera video, an officer examines a shell casing and discusses its location.
“See that right there? That is a shell casing. No way that they shot it from down there and it ended up all the way over here,” the officer said.
Police said witnesses reported hearing three shots. Investigators also found three shell casings on the brothers’ property.
In another body-camera recording, an officer discusses the location of the gunfire and where a shell casing was found.
“I know for a fact that somebody was standing over there and popped rounds off, and it wasn’t from down the street because it wouldn’t have ended up back behind this chair,” the officer said.

Body-camera video also shows an officer questioning Armani Warner about whether he saw or heard someone fire a gun.
“Did you see someone shoot a gun?” the officer asked.
“No,” Warner responded.
“Did you hear a gun?” the officer asked.
“No,” Warner said.
Davida Davis said she remembers the sound of the gunfire.
“All I knew is that gunshot went off. It was so horrendous,” she said.
She said her family is now waiting for the case to move forward.
“I’m just looking for our day in court,” Davis said.
The Davis family told Channel 2 Action News they were forced to move from their home by their homeowners association following the shooting.
Davis also said the lead investigator told her Thursday that the Warner brothers had been formally indicted by a grand jury. Channel 2 has reached out to the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office for confirmation and additional information.
No one was injured in the shooting.
The Warner brothers face multiple felony charges.
