GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Tori Lang was killed nearly two months ago, and her family said they still don’t have any answers
Lang’s body was found in Gwinnett County’s Yellow River Park in late July.
Her family told Channel 2′s Tony Thomas they are impatient, still grieving, and believe some of her friends likely know something.
“I didn’t get to sleep until five this morning, just thinking and wondering,” said Lang’s father, Torrey Lang.
The father told Thomas that his family suffers. They are trying to convince others to come forward with what they might know about the 18-year-old’s murder.
But so far — nothing.
“All of the sudden nobody knows nothing, nobody seen or talked to her. And you know, wow, that bothers me,” Torrey Lang said.

Tori Lang’s body was found in a picnic area in Yellow River Park on July 28. Gwinnett County police say they have nothing new to release on the case.
“It’s very frustrating. It’s tormenting, it’s literally that. We want justice,” mother Tamara Lang said.
Police found the teen’s burned-out car a few miles away from the south Gwinnett park.
The family said a neighbor’s security video recorded Tori leaving their house around 10:30 p.m. on the 27th. She was in flip flops, relaxed, and jumped in her car.
“She didn’t have her cell phone. Wherever she went, she knew she could go without having to contact those individuals,” Torrey Lang said.
Investigators told Thomas they are following up on cell phone records and other potential leads, but the process is agonizingly slow for the family.
“We don’t want to see this happen to anyone else’s child,” Tamara Lang said.
The family is holding a celebration of life for Tori, who they all called Kiwi, Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Redan Recreation Center in Lithonia.
Everyone is welcome and asked to wear their favorite shade of green.
The family has set up a GoFundMe account if you would like to contribute.
