GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Duluth K9 was able to sniff out more than 500 pounds of vacuum-sealed marijuana in Gwinnett County.

Duluth police said that the Gwinnett Metro Task Force asked for the assistance of a Duluth K9 after they got a tip about drugs in a storage unit just outside the city.

“During their investigation, investigators from the task force enlisted the help of our very own K9 Clodo and his talented nose,” police said. “Clodo was up for the challenge and immediately gave a positive alert to drugs.”
Officers entered the storage unit, where they found 533 pounds of vacuum-sealed marijuana in multiple boxes.

Police have not said if they tracked down the owner of the drugs or if anyone was arrested.
