EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. — Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s office announced a new business development is coming to the state, with an expectation of more than 200 jobs opening with its arrival.

Kemp’s office said the company would create 230 logistics-focused jobs with it when the facility is complete.

Bradshaw Home designs and sells home items such as kitchen tools, gadgets, bakeware, cookware, food storage and cleaning products, under several brands.

State officials praised the new development as part of Georgia’s positive business climate.

“As the No. 1 state for business, Georgia’s robust infrastructure and workforce continue to attract industry leaders such as Bradshaw,” Kemp said in a statement. “Our focus on creating good jobs for hardworking Georgians continues to lead to opportunities such as the ones Bradshaw Home is creating in the Peach State.”

NFI has also partnered with the Georgia Ports Authority to create a new transload facility at the Garden City Terminal, which is expected to open later in 2023.

The Bradshaw distribution center in Effingham will be 1.2 million square feet and, according to state officials, will be located at the Savannah Portside International Park near Meldrim in November.

“We are pleased to welcome Bradshaw Home to our community,” Matt Saxon, Chairman of the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority, said. “We owe a special thanks to our development partners at Panattoni Development Company for their investment and helping attract world-class companies to Effingham County.”
