Gas South Arena set for $175 million makeover with new suites, parking deck

DULUTH, Ga. — A major renovation project is coming to Gas South Arena, with officials set to break ground next week on an approximately $175 million investment in the arena and surrounding Gas South District campus.

Groundbreaking ceremonies are scheduled for Sept. 3 at 10 a.m. at Gas South Arena Plaza.

The project is expected to be completed by early 2028 and will include a new 1,000-space parking deck along with major upgrades designed to improve the experience for fans attending events.

The renovation will include:

  • New loge seating and private suites
  • A premium club featuring Personal Seat Licenses, or PSLs
  • Expanded premium hospitality spaces
  • Custom bars and upgraded food and beverage options
  • Exclusive gathering areas
  • New premium seating designed for greater comfort and flexibility
  • Larger, high-definition digital signage
  • Modernized concession areas and technology designed to reduce wait times

The project is part of a broader investment in the Gas South District campus.
