A woman was found dead in her Georgia driveway. This man is accused of running her over

BUTTS COUNTY, Ga. — A man has been arrested and charged with running over a woman in her driveway, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The GBI helped the Butts County Sheriff’s Office respond to a death investigation in Jackson.

GBI officials said this incident happened at around 11:40 p.m. on Friday.

A woman identified as 51-year-old Brooke Sides was found dead in her driveway when law enforcement arrived.

An investigation indicated Sides and 50-year-old Nathan Upchurch had gone out and began arguing after returning to the home on Watkins Park and Pool Road.

Upchurch then allegedly ran Sides over, killing her.

Their relationship was not specified by officials.

Upchurch was charged with murder and hit and run.

Officers are continuing to investigate this incident.
