Former President Jimmy Carter turning into comic book hero

PLAINS, Ga. — While he won’t be getting any superpowers, former President Jimmy Carter is the star of a new comic book set to release just days before his 97th birthday.

The Georgia native is the latest addition to TidalWave Comics’ “Presidential Power” series.

“Political Power: Jimmy Carter” will hit the virtual stands on Wednesday in both a hard cover and paperback version.

The publishing company says Carter is a welcome addition to the series because he is the hardest working former President of the United States.

“Few presidents enjoy positive press after their terms are over, but Jimmy Carter’s post-presidential life has been one of unwavering service and dedication to the country he loves. His charitable contributions prove he is a true servant-leader in every sense of the term,” said writer Michael Frizell.

The comic book explores Carter’s life, love and leadership, including his 75 years with his wife, Rosalynn, time in office, charity work and much more.

“Non-fiction stories are sometimes more entertaining than stories involving capes and tights” said publisher Darren G. Davis “In this case, the news far-out passes traditional comic books.”
