LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — A Lawrenceville home was heavily damaged by fire last Wednesday, and investigators say the blaze was intentionally set.

Firefighters were called around 5 a.m. August 5 to Camp Perrin Road NE. Crews found heavy flames throughout the single-family home.
Firefighters used multiple hoses to battle the fire while searching the home for anyone who may have been trapped inside. Part of the structure collapsed during the operation.
Everyone inside had escaped before firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported.
The fire caused extensive damage and displaced six adults, who were assisted by the American Red Cross.
Fire investigators determined the fire was incendiary, meaning it was intentionally started. The investigation remains ongoing.

Georgia Arson Control is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
