PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — A retail theft investigation in Peachtree City has police searching for two men accused of making off with thousands of dollars in merchandise before sunrise.

Peachtree City police said the theft happened around 6:22 a.m. on July 25 at the Lululemon store in Peachtree City.
Investigators said the suspects stole $17,000 worth of merchandise during the incident.
Police believe the pair arrived in a gunmetal gray Nissan Altima, likely a 2020 model year or newer, with tinted windows. Before the theft, investigators say the suspects stole a license plate from a vehicle in McDonough around 5:02 a.m. and attached it to the Altima.

One suspect was described as a man wearing Adidas jogging pants, gray sneakers and a black hoodie.
The second suspect was described as a tall, slender man with braids extending past his waist. He was wearing an orange-and-white Von Dutch cap, a dress shirt with a bow tie, white suspenders, dress pants and patent leather dress shoes.
Police released photos of the suspects and are asking anyone who recognizes them, or the vehicle they were driving, to come forward.
