Anderson was working nearby and was shocked someone would get shot during this time of day.
“It’s crazy because I’ve heard of night shootings and stuff like that. I’ve heard of day shootings before but I’ve never heard of one so close to me before,” he said.
A woman who didn’t want to be identified said her brother is friends with the man who was killed and that he was in the car when the bullets started flying.
“He happened to be in the car like a few seconds before they started shooting so by the grace of God he’s OK,” she said. “It’s just so tragic. It’s so tragic. I knew this guy. He was a really nice guy.”
The victim’s name has not been released.
