Victim hospitalized, suspect arrested after fight on MARTA bus turns to gunfire

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man shot on board a MARTA bus on Thursday night is recovering in the hospital.

MARTA police say a fight between two passengers broke out on the bus before it escalated to gunfire near Panola Road.

K’Den Dunye Prez Anderson, 20, has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where he underwent surgery and remains hospitalized.

Police have not released details about what led up to the fight.

Anderson has also been permanently suspended from MARTA.
