DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County fire officials are investigating an incident at an apartment complex in Chamblee.

Fire officials told Channel 2 Action News that crews received reports of an apartment fire at the Chamblee Heights Apartments on Pearl Lane at 5:19 a.m.
When crews arrived, they quickly got to work putting out the blaze.

Officials confirmed at least two families were displaced due to the extensive damage caused by the fire.
Arson investigators are now working to determine what caused the fire.
The investigation remains ongoing.
