COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — Deputies found a woman dead after they responded to a reported shooting at an apartment on Lakeside Way at about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 15, according to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies found the woman unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound when they arrived, the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation remains active and one person is in custody.
The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office said it will release more information as the investigation moves forward.
