NEWNAN, Ga. — Something new is sprouting in Newnan.

A Sprouts Farmers Market will open in Newnan in October, creating 83 full- and part-time jobs in the community, the company announced.
The store will be located at 19 Millard Farmer Industrial Blvd., Suite F.
Ahead of the opening, the company will host a two-day hiring event in September to fill the open positions.

The in-person hiring event will take place at The Newnan Centre, at 1515 Lower Fayetteville Road. Hours are scheduled for 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 9 and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 10. No interviews will be conducted between noon and 1 p.m.
Walk-in applicants are welcome and job seekers can also apply online in advance at sprouts.com/careers.
Available positions at the Newnan location include department managers, assistant department managers and clerks across multiple departments, including produce, meat and seafood, deli, grocery, bakery and vitamins and body care.
Sprouts is also hiring cashiers, courtesy clerks, receivers, administrative coordinators and scan coordinators.
The specialty grocery store features an open layout with fresh produce located at the center of the building.
Sprouts carries standard, organic, plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free and keto products.
The store is scheduled to open on Oct. 16.
According to the company, details about grand opening celebrations will be announced closer to the opening date.
