COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Cobb County police say a 53-year-old Alabama man turned himself in on Wednesday afternoon after a deadly shooting.
Officers were called to a shopping center at Windy Hill Road and Cobb Parkway where they found a 21-year-old man who had been shot several times.
Jabril Blount, 21 of Roswell, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Eric Townsend later turned himself in to the Smyrna Police Department. He was transferred into Cobb County custody and charged with felony murder and aggravated assault.
Investigators have not commented on what led up to the shooting.
It’s unclear if Townsend and Blount knew one another.
