Man shoots, kills wife in Acworth, police say

ACWORTH — Acworth police said a man shot and killed his wife early Sunday morning.

Police said the incident happened on Parke Brook Drive in Acworth around 2:40 a.m.

Adrienne Rush, 32, was rushed to the hospital, where she died. Police identified the shooter as her husband, Quinterias Beck, 34.

Beck was taken into custody and charged with murder, aggravated assault, battery, cruelty to children and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Beck is being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
