COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Fans heading to Truist Park for the Braves’ win-or-go-home playoff matchup should prepare for heavy traffic around the stadium throughout the afternoon and evening.
Triple Team Traffic’s Mike Shields said drivers can expect increased congestion on Interstate 75, Interstate 285, Cobb Parkway and surrounding roads as thousands of fans make their way to The Battery Atlanta and Truist Park.
Parking lots opened at 2 p.m., stadium gates opened at 4 p.m., and first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Shields recommends fans consider alternative transportation options to avoid traffic and parking headaches.
CobbLinc transit service can help fans reach the ballpark without searching for parking, while rideshare services are also expected to be a popular option.
Traffic is expected to continue building closer to game time as fans arrive for one of the Braves’ biggest games of the season.
Fans planning to drive should allow extra travel time and expect delays around major routes leading into Truist Park.
