4 arrested after police respond to shots fired in Austell neighborhood

AUSTELL, Ga. — The Cobb County Police Department investigated a shots fired call in Austell on Saturday night, the department confirmed to Channel 2 Action News.

Police say the incident occurred in a neighborhood off of Pine Creek Drive in Austell.

Multiple officers responded to the neighborhood where they say at least one suspect fled the area on foot.

The suspect(s) got into a car and tried to run from police, but officers were able to box the car in and stop it.

Four people inside the car were arrested.

There were no injuries reported.
