SMYRNA, Ga. — An autism therapy center had to re-direct patients at its other locations Monday.
Yellow tape is wrapped around the Circle City ABA office near the Battery in Cobb County after a driver crashed into it Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to Interstate North Circle around 3 p.m. after they received multiple reports about a car in a building.

A tarp still covers a large hole in the front office of Circle City ABA, which is an autism therapy center. It is not clear what caused the driver to lose control, according to investigators.
People use this sidewalk near the building to get to the Battery or nearby trail.
The car drove over the sidewalk, knocked over an entrance sign, crashed through a fence and into the parking lot before slamming into the side of the building.
The driver of the car was already outside of the car when firefighters arrived, according to the Cobb County fire department.

The driver was not seriously injured, and no one was hurt, according to officials.
Circle City ABA posted to social media that its Smyrna office was temporarily closed.
Channel 2 Cobb Bureau Chief Michele Newell contacted Circle City ABA employees Monday to ask how long their Interstate North Circle location will be close. Channel 2 has not heard back.
