ATLANTA — Fire crews battled a brush fire to keep it from spreading into a larger one Wednesday afternoon.

Atlanta Fire arrived around 5:13 p.m. at 826 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW to find flames burning a small box truck behind an abandoned building.
The fire was threatening nearby commercial buildings. Firefighters extinguished the vehicle fire and prevented the spread to other buildings.

NewsChopper2 flew over as firefighters battled the flames. The street was temporarily blocked in both directions during the fire.
No injuries were reported.
