Braves advance to NLDS with Game 3 win over Phillies in front of sold-out crowd

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves are heading back to the National League Division Series.

The Braves delivered a win over the Philadelphia Phillies Game 3 in front of an electric sold-out crowd at Truist Park. They will now play the Los Angeles Dodgers in the best-of-five NLDS.

Ray Kerr’s 3.1 scoreless innings and Michael Harris II’s 3-run home run in the first inning set the tone early for the Braves. Ozzie Albies and Matt Olson each added home runs in the fourth and seventh innings.

Atlanta’s bullpen, including a surprise appearance from ace Chris Sale, got the rest of the job done to advance to the NLDS.
