ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in southwest Atlanta on Friday.
Police say at 3:15 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Montreat Avenue SW in reference to a person shot call.
When they arrived, they found a 15-year-old who was shot multiple times, with wounds to his left arm and back.

The teen was alert, conscious and breathing and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police say the teen was walking with his sibling on Oakland Drive SW when he was hit with gunfire from a moving vehicle.
Police say the suspect fled the scene prior to their officers arriving on scene.
