ATLANTA — A man was shot in SW Atlanta near midnight on Friday.
Atlanta police responded at about 11:32 p.m. to a report of a person shot at 2380 Metropolitan Parkway SW.

A Channel 2 Action News photographer at the scene observed a large police presence, including crime scene investigation vans.

Atlanta police said in an update Saturday that a 36-year-old man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital by private vehicle and was found in stable condition.
Police said investigation determined the gunfire stemmed from an argument with “a known suspect.”
Authorities haven’t released further information about the victim or the suspect in the shooting.
