ATLANTA — Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall, a longtime favorite along the Beltline’s Eastside Trail, is opening a second spot in West Midtown at 690 11th St. NW.
The new location opens Oct. 21 and kicks things off with a big “3-Day Weekend” celebration from Oct. 23 through Oct. 25.
There’s plenty of outdoor space — about 8,000 square feet — and the restaurant sits right across from the former Six Feet Under in the Star Metals District.
Parking is easy, with two-hour complimentary parking in nearby lots, a roundabout for rideshare drop-offs and pickups, and extra free parking along Bellingrath Ave. and Edgehill Ave.

On Oct. 23, guests can enjoy “Golden Hour” specials from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., including $3 Ladybird Lager, a $4 off-menu snack, and a $5 cocktail. There’s also a “Westside Trading Post” market pop-up from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the patio, plus live music from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

All proceeds from the dog menu go to the Atlanta Humane Society through Nov. 15.
Executive Chef Dan Diersen is leading the kitchen, bringing Ladybird’s signature campfire dishes and some new West Midtown exclusives, like the Trail Pack and Campfire Roasted Chicken. The new location also features a rotisserie-style smoker for even more live-fire cooking.
Ladybird West Midtown will be open Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight. The restaurant plans to add weekday lunch service after opening.
