ATLANTA. — Atlanta police say a man was taken to the hospital after a shooting on Atlanta police were investigating at a home in northwest Atlanta Thursday night.
A Channel 2 photographer saw police on the scene in the 860 block of Capitol View Avenue NW.
The 57-year-old was alert, conscious and breathing.
Police said a dispute between two people who knew each other escalated into gunfire.
Crime scene tape was up at the home, but the scene is now clear.
Police say they are continuing to investigate.
