Police investigating deadly double shooting at northeast Atlanta apartment complex

ATLANTA — One man is dead and another is injured after a shooting in broad daylight at a northeast Atlanta apartment complex.

Police say the double shooting took place along Central Park Place NE just before 5:00 p.m.

The injured victim was taken to the hospital and is listed in stable condition. The identity of the man who died has not been released.

Investigators determined that the shooting took place inside one of the apartments and may have been the result of an argument between the victims and the suspect.

By the time police arrived to the location, the suspect had already fled the scene.
