ATLANTA — A boil water advisory is in place for parts of southwest Atlanta while a water main break is being repaired at 2800 Springdale Road SW.
Atlanta Watershed Management reports service to about 780 residents have been affected by this water main break. The Crestview Health and Rehabilitation Center and the Fox Glove Nursing Home are in the affected area.
A boil-water advisory is in effect for Springdale Road SW between Cleveland Ave. SW and Cofield Drive SW.
Anyone under this advisory should boil water for one minute past a rolling boil before using it. Infants, the elderly and those with immune deficiencies should be particularly careful.
Atlanta Watershed Management reports the advisory is in effect until further notice.
