ATLANTA — More than 142,000 eviction filings were recorded across metro Atlanta in the past year, giving the region the highest eviction filing rate of any major metro area tracked by researchers at Princeton University’s Eviction Lab.
According to the new data, roughly 1 in 4 renters in Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Clayton and Gwinnett counties received an eviction filing during the last 12 months.
