Man shot outside popular downtown bar and grill, police say

ATLANTA — Atlanta police say a man was shot multiple times as he left a popular bar and grill on Peachtree Street early Saturday morning.

Police said the victim was leaving the Views Bar and Grill near the Westin Peachtree Plaza around 2:30 a.m. when he was shot.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was taken to the hospital but his condition is unclear.

Investigators are working to learn how the shooting happened. They have not released information about potential suspects.
