ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred just after midnight Sunday morning.
Police say at 12:11 a.m., police responded to 224 Chappell Road NW in reference to two people shot.

When they arrived, they found a 26-year-old man who had been shot multiple times, along with a 28-year-old man with a singular gunshot wound.
The 26-year-old victim was taken to the hospital and was alert, conscious and breathing, however, the 28-year-old victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

APD says their homicide unit responded to the scene and their investigation is ongoing.
