GEORGIA — Starting Monday, Georgia voters will be able to submit their applications to vote via absentee ballot.
The process, known as mail ballot voting, for the November midterms officially opens as an option on Monday and ends on Oct. 23.
To apply for absentee ballots, voters must submit their request to the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office.
Here’s what you’ll need to apply for an absentee ballot:
- Driver’s license number
- Phone number or email address
- County Board of Registrar’s Office address or email address, depending on how you submit your application
- Copy of application with signature signed with pen and ink, required by law
Absentee ballot applications can be submitted via online form, email, fax, in person or by physical mail.
