Fulton County Animal Services hopes local dog’s movie journey inspires people to adopt

ATLANTA — From an Atlanta animal shelter to the big screen.

Fulton County Animal Services is hoping a local dog’s journey inspires those looking for a furry friend to adopt.

Coco plays the lead character’s dog in the film “Prey.”

The shelter took care of Coco in 2021. She was adopted specifically for the movie.

Fulton County Animal Services says: “We are SO delighted that Coco found the life she has, and is now shining a light on the potential of shelter dogs and what they are capable of — when given a chance.”

“Prey” is the origin story of the Predator series in the world of the Comanche Nation 300 years ago.

The movie is available to stream now on Hulu.
