Braves announce 3 finalists for next public address announcer

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves have narrowed down from hundreds of submissions to three finalists for the team’s “voice of the Braves.”

The three finalists for the team’s public address announcer position are Larry Gardner of Adairsville, Kevin Kraus of Bethlehem and Chris Litton of Newnan.

Last season, longtime Braves announcer Casey Motter passed away at age 53. Motter had been the public address announcer for the team since 2007.

Nearly 500 people submitted videos, both in person and online, to be considered, according to the team.
