Atlanta Police looking for leads in Edgewood area homicide

ATLANTA — Atlanta Police say they are hoping someone may have seen or heard something to help them find out who shot and killed a man on William H. Borders Dr.

Investigators say they were called to 24 William H. Borders Dr. around 1:15 Sunday morning in the Edgewood area. That was where they found a man laying on the road with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to nearby Grady Memorial Hospital where police say the man died from his wounds.

Homicide detectives are working to find out who shot the man and what may have led to the incident. They are asking anyone who might have some information on the case to please call 911 or Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477 (TIPS).

You can safely give information to Crime Stoppers without having to reveal any identifying information. If your information leads to an arrest or indictment of a suspect in this case, you could be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000.
