Police say they were called out to the 600 block of McAfee St. just after 10 p.m. Saturday night after residents heard the gunfire.

When officers arrived, they found the 14-year-old unresponsive and two injured teens.

The 14-year-old has been identified as Kaiden Gardner of Atlanta.

Channel 2′s Audrey Washington spoke with someone who saw most of what happened.

“I seen a lot of commotion. I was like that was not a fight, that was gunshots,” the witness said. “By the time I got out of the car and got into the house, I just seen a lot of police cars and ambulances coming down here.”

Atlanta Police Deputy Chief Charles Hampton said officers detained a 17-year old male who had a gun at the scene and were questioning him about the incident. The 17-year old has not been charged at this time. Hampton said everyone involved in the melee were teenagers and most scattered when officers arrived.
